- Guest Engagement: Provide a warm and personalized dining experience by welcoming guests, anticipating their needs, and ensuring a seamless service flow.
- Service Execution: Assist in taking orders, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables while maintaining Capella's high service standards.
- Menu Knowledge: Be fully familiar with the menu offerings, ingredients, and beverage pairings to make recommendations and upsell where appropriate.
- Dining Area Maintenance: Ensure tables, chairs, and service stations are clean, organized, and set up according to standards before, during, and after service.
- Order Accuracy & Coordination: Communicate guests' special requests, allergies, and dietary needs to the kitchen and bar to ensure flawless service.
- Beverage Service: Assist in preparing and serving beverages, including coffee, tea, and cocktails, while adhering to quality and safety guidelines.
- Forbes Service Standards: Uphold luxury service standards in alignment with Capella Ubud's commitment to excellence.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with the culinary, bar, and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive dining experience.
- Cleanliness & Hygiene: Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures, ensuring all dining areas and service stations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: Be open to rotating within different sub-departments of Food & Beverage or assisting other departments when required.
- An active student that enrolled in a college or university preferably in Hotel/Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service program
- Excellent interpersonal skills with personable character, a team player and good at cultivating strong guest relations
- Very good command in spoken and written English, additional languages will be an advantage
- Great attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Possess a great communication skill
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all time
- Flexible regarding work schedules
- Highly responsible and reliable
