In September 2022 Workmate was acquired by PERSOL Group, one of the worlds largest HR Services companies, listed on the Japan Stock Exchange.We are growing fast, and are looking for a talented Business Development Manager to help us accelerate our growth.But enough about us, let’s talk about who you are:Who you are and whom we’re seeking:
  • You have solid experience of 5 years in Sales/Business Development with a proven track record of successfully selling in Logistics, Warehouse, Saas, or FnB Company.
  • You are a hunter. You are self motivated, driven to win, and not afraid to take a “no”. You take pride in your ability to consistently achieve your sales targets.
  • You truly understand your customers. You keep up with how they operate. You observe and recognize their pain points. You understand their needs. You know how your solution compares to other options in the market. You tailor your approach (and our product) to the customers. Customers turn to you for solutions to their issues and the betterment of their operations.
  • You are a superstar when it comes to strategic selling, with unparalleled presentation and negotiation skills.
  • You are experienced but always learning. It is a massive bonus if you have experience selling software before, but not a deal breaker. Moreso you have sold into multi stakeholder companies, with a product where the key stakeholder is C-levels. You may already be familiar with sales methodologies like SPIN or challenger sales which would be a big plus.
  • You sold the underdog: you know how to sell new or emerging products to customers, educate them about a new segment that can solve existing problems.
  • You are a solutions architect. You can create sophisticated proposals that resonate with ambitious companies and differentiate you and your product from competitors.
  • You are a team player. The sale is not made when the contract is signed. The sale is never-ending. You do not throw grenades over the fence to a customer success or ops team, you set them up to succeed. You provide detailed information about your customers and log all of this in a CRM so that everyone is on the same page.
  • You can talk about complex things in a simple way. You communicate exceptionally clear in both Bahasa and English whether written or verbal; you are a brilliant listener, too! You can communicate with senior execs all the way down to ground level staff on the client side, and create bonds of trust.
Things you will do as a Business Development Manager:Building trust, growing our client base and disrupting the entire blue collar space client by clients by :
  • Contact target clients (outbound sales), understanding their needs and delivering service levels beyond their expectations.
  • Use your solution sales skills to have conversations with prospects that unearth their goals and problems.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with all related parties through either telephone or face-to-face meetings
  • Achieve company and team objectives through effective sales planning, achieving individual sales target and goal
  • Generate leads within the target industries, build and nurture client relationships
  • Track, analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics and keep up to date on business trends that may impact client business activities.
  • Use Hubspot and other sales tools to keep tracking easy and accessible for the organization.
