As an Account Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in Jakarta OR Balikpapan (wherever you are based).
  • Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the client portfolio within the Mining Sector (specifically, Mining Contractors).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop customised solutions for clients.
  • Managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the hydraulics product portfolio and industry developments.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sales activities.
Market LeaderHigh AutonomyA successful Account Manager should have:
  • Proven experience in sales or account management, within the Mining industry, ideally with Mining Contractors.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics and their applications in various sectors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales-related software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • A degree in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
