- Defining and implementing the segment sales strategy and budget and ensure regular follow up with oversight country. Driving the growth of the top line in each target segment.
- Leading the segment team to enhance global sales efficiency by setting local targets aligned with key objectives from global leaders. Ensuring that targets are met through regular oversight and the implementation of improvement plans as necessary.
- Building relationships with key influences and customers while leveraging ABB's strengths in essential for capturing new business opportunities and effectively communicating ABB's value propositions.
- Activating operation intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify industry segment trends, practices, product gaps, competitor strategy, etc.
- Driving and ensuring knowledge sharing and cross-division and cross-country collaborations.
- Involved in setting prices and margins to meet sales targets, participating in key contract negotiations, and utilizing global tools to maximize team efficiency. Additionally it requires upholding high standards of integrity and safety while supporting risk management by providing local financial and ownership information to internal partners.
- Electrical Engineer, with 5+ years of experience in Key Accounts Sales, preferably in Data Center Segment.
- Electrical industry exposure as well as segment / application knowledge in segment.
- Broad understanding of sales to large customers and end user along with strong network in the Data Center Segment.
- Demonstrated ability to work across functions and reporting lines.
- Good communication and negotiation skills. Commercially astute.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Must be self-starter and pro-active. Be able to work independently as well as in team.
