- Driving direct sales strategy to be implemented across regions to ensure delivery of sales business objectives and merchandising excellence with highest integrity
- Champion overall sales operations control and execution excellence by overseeing proper implementation of sales business process
- Develop sales channel development strategy to ensure market penetration and product distribution within the region are achieved accordingly to business objectives & coverage strategy
- Manage all aspects of distributor life cycle from recruitment, development, management and (when applicable) termination on Regional level
- Ensure distributor sales & financial performance targets in the Region are achieved by implementing proper support, guidance, monitoring & control, resulting in beneficial business relationship
- Sets, monitor and review individual & team development plans
- Champion people development agenda as part of building current and future team capability
- Ensure compliance of team members to agreed business process and company regulations through consistent integrity communication
- Collaborate with Finance Operation Team to ensure financial aspects within the Region (e.g., AR, TOP, CL) are monitored and delivered accordingly to business requirements
- Synergize sales and financial strategy by continuously building a commercial mindset to ensure achievement of commercial results within the Region
- Lead the delivery of trade & field marketing initiatives within assigned Region to increase product visibility and drive consumer demands
- Collaborate with Marketing Team in Head Office in building marketing strategy that are aligned with portfolio objectives and specific necessity
- Monitor, control & review the implementation of trade & field marketing initiatives in the region to ensure compliance and proper business process are conducted accordingly to agreed procedures
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent experience, master's degree preferred
- 10 years experience in senior role from multinational FMCG / Tobacco companies within Marketing & Sales function
- Proven track record in leading a hybrid model of direct sales operation and indirect sales model on a regional scale, with proficiency in distribution strategy, trade & field marketing, financial & commercial aspects as well as inventory and logistic matters
- Experienced in leading a large number of team members with diverse background
- Fluent in English (both speaking and writing)
