MidPlaza Holding is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Assistant Manager of Tax to join our Corporate Office in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will support the tax department in managing tax compliance, audits, and transactions, ensuring alignment with regulations and internal policies. This role will involve collaborating with various departments to ensure effective tax planning and reporting.Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and filing tax returns in compliance with local tax laws.
Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax savings opportunities.
Prepare tax provision calculations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Supervise and mentor tax staff and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Coordinate and liaise with tax authorities during audits and inquiries.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and implement necessary changes within the organization.
Assist in developing tax strategies and policies that align with business goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance or consulting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Brevet A & B certified and Tax Consultant (A) Certified is required.
Strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using tax software and MS Office applications.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
