Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about quality and efficiency.Get to Know the RoleWe are looking for a Safety & Quality Manager to lead strategic initiatives focused on behavioral risk, safety innovations, and standard enforcement projects. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage complex projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and drive experimental programs, but if you believe you have what it takes then we'd love to hear from you either way. You will play a key role in shaping the future of safety and quality at Grab, reporting to the Head of Safety & Quality, based onsite in Jakarta.The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
  • You lead the planning and delivery of experimental and behavioral risk projects.
  • You design programs that apply human behavior frameworks and risk mitigation insights.
  • You execute cross-functional projects that blend innovation with operational excellence.
  • You monitor progress and impact of initiatives using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • You work closely with internal teams, external institutions, and sometimes government or NGO partners.
  • You identify opportunities to scale successful pilots into sustainable, cross-market programs.
  • You regularly communicate progress and risks to senior leadership.
QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need
  • You have Heart, Hunger, Honour and Humility.
  • You have 6+ years of experience in project management, experimentation, or behavioral/scientific programs.
  • Experience working in consulting or a similar fast-paced, client-focused environment is a plus.
  • You have experience designing and executing cross-functional projects.
  • You are experienced in strategic thinking and stakeholder management.
  • You are intellectually curious and able to apply frameworks from behavioral science, psychology, risk, or compliance.
  • You are comfortable making data-driven decisions and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • You are open to collaborating with external institutions (e.g., government, academic partners).
