- As a member of the Commissioning Team, under the direction of the Commissioning Manager, ensure PCOM/COM is conducted in compliance with the Safety Management Plan and all relevant Commissioning plans and procedures
- Test and troubleshoot control system configuration and graphics, hardware and software safety devices as well as operation/sequential interlocks considered to be Critical Function Tests along with operations personnel to prove both the equipment and procedures
- Interface with the Vendor Control System Engineers to resolve issues at site and lead mobilisation schedules of package vendors for Commissioning activities
- Drive the delivery of the Completions Turnover process, from the Construction team to the Commissioning team, and from the Commissioning team to the Operations team through the CCMS.
- Relevant Engineering Degree, technical Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in Siemens PCS programming
- Experience in system testing and documentation of activities such as Loop Checks, Tuning, Cause and Effect, Critical Function Test, drawing revisions, specifications, and engineering/process changes
- Experience in performing Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) on similar control systems
- Commissioning Engineer must have at least 5 years specific experience in the supervision of specialized commissioning personnel on new facilities
- A broad knowledge of installation, functional testing, and operation of Mechanical, Instrumentation, Piping and Electrical Systems utilized for various processes. As a Commissioning Engineer, it is critical to be able to direct multi-discipline teams and to see the entire picture of the operating plant.
