- Experience with Moodle: Familiarity with Moodle as a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Linux Administration: Proficiency in managing Linux servers, including Ubuntu, CentOS, or Debian.
- Web Server Management: Experience with Apache or Nginx web servers.
- Database Management: Knowledge of MariaDB. PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
- PHP Development: Experience with PHP, including version 7.3 or higher.
- Network Configuration: Ability to configure and manage network settings, including firewalls and load balancers.
- Server Management: Experience with managing and maintaining servers, including virtualization and Containerization technologies.
- Performance Optimization: Experience in optimizing system performance and scalability.
- Security: Understanding of security best practices and implementation of security measures.
- Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- System Integration: Ability to integrate Moodle with other systems and applications is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Willingness to work collaboratively with other IT staff and departments.
- Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects and ensuring timely completion.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
- Performance Monitoring: Ability to monitor system performance and implement improvements.
- Documentation: Skills in documenting IT infrastructure and processes for future reference.
