They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead their sales team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving sales growth and building strong client relationships in the logistics industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of their business and play a key role in shaping their sales strategy. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to drive performance and exceed goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and networking.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and marketing, to optimise sales processes and enhance service offerings.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and make informed business decisions.
  • Represent company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote our services and build brand awareness.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of working experience with more than 7 years in senior sales leadership roles within the logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients at all levels.
