- At least 5 years' experience, preferably in designing and implementing behaviour change programs and/or community development/engagement/organizing that worked, ideally at regency level or similar. Other experience in communications, marketing, and psychology a plus.
- At least a bachelor's degree, in social science, marketing, communication, public health, psychology, or related subject. Master's degree a plus.
- Experience in engaging multiple stakeholders and mobilizing supports for behaviour change activities from various stakeholders
- Ideally, have an established network with other behaviour change professionals, especially in the ocean plastic or waste space (although not required)
- Evidenced passion for the sustainability/environment/social enterprise space
- Must be fluent in both Bahasa and English
- Exceptional systems thinking, problem-solving, analytical and structuring skills
- Proficiency with media design tools a plus, but not required.
- High level of autonomy and ability to deliver with minimal supervision
- Highly organized, ability to manage project and stick to budgets
- Attention to detail, commitment to producing high quality results
- Able to build trust with leaders in the community and assist residents in managing change
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and work well with a diverse group of waste stakeholders
