This role provides hands-on experience in financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, and inventory management. The trainee will work closely with various departments, such as Finance, Purchasing, Receiving, and Operations, ensuring smooth financial processes and cost control while adhering to company policies and standards.The RoleFinancial Transactions: Assist in processing invoices, verifying receipts, and maintaining accurate financial records.Accounts Payable & Receivable: Support vendor payments, monitor receivables, and reconcile financial transactions.Bookkeeping & Data Entry: Maintain accurate transaction records and update accounting databases.Procurement Support: Assist in sourcing, purchasing, and receiving goods, ensuring quality control and cost efficiency.Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels, apply FIFO principles, and prevent shortages or waste.Reconciliations: Help with bank, vendor, and guest account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.Reporting & Compliance: Assist in preparing financial reports, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and company policies.Store & Security Oversight: Maintain organized and secure storage areas with controlled access.Administrative Assistance: Organize financial and purchasing documents, update records, and support audits.Confidentiality & Integrity: Handle financial data with professionalism and maintain strict confidentiality.Flexibility & Adaptability: Be open to learning different aspects of finance and assisting with various departmental needs.Talent Profile:An active student enrolled in a College or University, preferably in Hotel/Hospitality Management, Finance, Economy, or Business Management.Excellent interpersonal skills with a personable character, a team player, and good at cultivating strong guest and supplier relations.Great attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.Strong communication skills, both spoken and written; proficiency in English (additional languages are an advantage).Good conflict resolution skills with decision-making and judgment abilities.Flexible regarding work schedules.Strong email etiquette and proficiency in Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.*Kindly be informed that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
