- Assist the F&B Manager in performing assigned duties.
- Ensure all uniforms are neat, clean, and ready for use.
- Take charge of the outlet in the absence of the F&B Manager.
- Oversee efficient and smooth service of all items served in the outlet.
- Help with seating guests as they arrive.
- Check menus for cleanliness.
- Check menus for accuracy.
- Check menus for the correct number of copies.
- Prepare and insert daily specials or updates into the menus.
- Ensure daily cleanliness of all Food and Beverage areas in the hotel.
- Monitor and control stock in the F&B outlet areas.
- Record and maintain reservation details accurately.
- Prepare menu displays and other visual displays as needed.
- Take care of outlet equipment and small wares.
- Conduct regular inventory of equipment with the Chief Steward.
- Help maintain a clean and organized environment in the outlet.
- Check the physical condition of all equipment daily.
- Create work orders for equipment issues.
- Follow up with the Engineering Department on necessary repairs.
- Secondary / High school education
- Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
- Good communication and customer contact skills
- Service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to work well in stressful & high-pressure situations
