Job Description:Youtap is seeking a highly driven and strategic Managing Director to lead the operations of its Indonesia Office. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization delivers high performance across all functions-people, processes, and profitability.The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader with proven abilities in staff leadership, performance management, and cost optimization, combined with extensive knowledge of Indonesian labour laws, HR regulations, and commercial operations. They will be responsible for managing daily business operations, achieving revenue targets, and engaging directly with key internal and external stakeholders.You will already live in Jakarta and will hold either a Business Visa or permanent residency.No AI Generate CVs will be accepted.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic & Operational Leadership

Oversee the day-to-day management of Youtap Indonesia's operations and ensure alignment with the group's strategic goals.
Drive operational efficiency across all departments, including sales, marketing, operations, product, and customer support.
Set and track KPIs and ensure the achievement of financial and operational targets.

2. People & Performance Management

Lead a high-performing leadership team and oversee recruitment, performance reviews, development plans, and organizational structure.
Build a performance-oriented culture with clear accountability and ongoing staff development.
Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour laws and HR policies while maintaining a healthy and inclusive workplace culture.

3. Financial Oversight & Cost Optimization

Manage operational budgets, forecasts, and cost-reduction initiatives to improve profitability.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining business continuity and service delivery standards.
Drive efficiencies in resource allocation and financial discipline across the company.

4. Revenue Growth & Business Development

Oversee and collaborate with the Sales and Product teams to drive new revenue opportunities and scale existing accounts.

5. Stakeholder & Shareholder Communication

Serve as the main point of contact for Indonesian subsidiaries and shareholder representatives.
Regularly report to the Youtap Group CEO and participate in global management meetings.
Ensure transparent communication with shareholders and provide updates on performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

6. Collaboration with International Offices

Foster collaboration with global Youtap offices and contribute to cross-border strategic initiatives and knowledge sharing.
Act as a local liaison to ensure consistent group policies and standards are applied and adapted for the Indonesian context.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum of 10 years in senior leadership roles, preferably in technology, fintech, SaaS, or high-growth sectors.
Deep understanding of Indonesian HR and labour regulations.
Proven track record in leading teams, performance optimization, and cost management.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Excellent spoken english (the assumption is you also speak Bahasa)
Experience working in a multinational environment and engaging with international stakeholders and investors.
