Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank’s risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure1. Demonstrate good understanding of the security, risks and controls of cross-discipline technology environment in a financial institution.
2. Understand the operating environment and design security, risk and control metrics. Analyse trends, anomalies and behaviours for risk and control reporting.
3. Execute and complete all technology risk and control assessments, as well as engaging application and infrastructure teams; with the objectives of identifying risks, information security, controls and operational lapses.
4. Monitor outstanding risk items and audit issues to ensure proper ownership and follow-up.
5. Engage with technology stakeholders to proactively identify risks at a detailed and technical level and ensure that IT is effectively driving remediation activities and to continuously improve IT risk postureRequirements * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Risk Management, or related field. Advanced degrees and certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are often preferred.
- Proven experience in technology risk management, information security, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, information security principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and COBIT.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with risk management tools and software applications is a plus.
