The Provincial Coordinator – Papua Barat will provide coordination, technical, and management support in the work planning, implementation, and monitoring of SKALA’s provincial activities. The incumbent will work closely with the Governance, Strategy and Quality, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Knowledge Management & Partnerships and Operations teams.The Provincial Coordinator will also support the provincial team in establishing and maintaining effective engagement with local development stakeholders including government institutions, universities, legislatures and other development partners in the province. - Support engagement with key provincial government stakeholders for planning and BAST (handover documentation) processes.
- In collaboration with the Finance Coordinator, ensure all event documentation is stored in the BAST folder.
- Work closely with provincial team as well as other units in SKALA and provide coordination support for day-to-day implementation of annual workplan:
- Support implementation of village information systems across districts, the operationalisation of Satu Data Daerah regulations, as well as the province Special Autonomy flagship program.
- Provide support for day-to-day coordination with other teams, including, but not limited to coordinate technical and thematic consultations, presentations, and trainings.
- Work with the Operations & Finance Team to ensure procedural compliance.
- Participate and contribute to cross-program meetings to support integration between thematic areas and the implementation team.
- In close coordination with the MERL Coordinator, support program monitoring, focusing on:
- Comply with DFAT, DT Global and SKALA policies on gender, disability, fraud and anticorruption, child protection, PSEAH and the environment.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to various operational policies, guidelines and manuals issued by DT Global and SKALA.
- Work environment involves only infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements and minor physical exertion and/or strain.
- Work may require long, and flexible hours as needed. Travel is based on need.
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, economics, social studies, regional planning or other relevant disciplines.
- At least 5 years of work experience in development programs, including 2-3 years of working with local government in Papua Region.
- Demonstrated experience in program administration and financial processes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based information system.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and take on diverse tasks as needed.
- Strong initiative, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to communicate fluently and effectively in Bahasa Indonesia and English (preferable)
- Experience working in the development sector, preferably DFAT funded program
- Understanding of workplace health, safety and security principles.
