- This role requires a very entrepreneurial approach based on identifying your territory specific needs and refining OpenText value proposition to address them.
- You have high energy and are excited by a hunting role where you will be both leveraging existing relationships and building new relationships.
- You will be coordinating sales operations with the alliances, marketing and account development teams to generate your pipeline of opportunities.
- You will collaborate with global teams who will provide subject matter expertise and help you refine your strategy and drive large complex enterprise software solutions.
- In the pursuit of excellence, you will be regularly assessing with your peers and leadership team how to improve your approach to market and strategy on your deals.
- 7 or more years' experience in selling enterprise software (direct sales role)
- Knowledge and network with the local government and conglomerates is a plus
- An understanding of OpenText solutions or Information Management technology is a significant advantage
- Achievement of quarterly targets
- Ability to understand client’s personal and business challenges to craft an effective value proposition
- Take ownership and accountability to resolve every issue impacting your performance
- Ability to negotiate commercial agreements and achieve mutual success with your clients
- Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen and understand a prospect’s business challenges
- Ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment
- Creative, can-do attitude when deciding both the territory and deal strategy
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment - only constant is change
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Ability and desire for continuous learning
