- Researching designs and trends for potential development across all BDAU market segments.
- Utilising design skills, product and market knowledge in collaboration with BDAU Product Managers to develop contemporary, original and innovative knitted and woven fabric designs for range development and expansion.
- Developing and implementing original design concepts for commercial and industrial textiles for existing and new markets in jacquard woven and knitted mattress ticking
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in art/design or other related field
- Advanced skills on EAT design software and/or similar software, Adobe and MS Office
- Proficient in English communication and writing
- Understands how to use online tools like Shutterstock, Pinterest, and AI to find inspiration and develop design concepts
- Demonstrated and proven creative, innovative design skills and talent with ability to produce original ideas and designs
