As an Agronomy Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Develop and execute comprehensive plans for planting, growing, and harvesting crops. This includes managing soil health, fertility programs, and pest and disease control strategies.
Oversee a team of agronomists and field staff, providing technical guidance and training. You will also manage the budget and procurement of essential agricultural inputs like seeds and fertilizers.
Monitor crop performance and analyze data to optimize yield and quality. The role also requires ensuring all operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
Research and implement new agricultural technologies and sustainable farming practices. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with farmers and other industry partners.

A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in agronomy or crop production, with a proven track record in a leadership or management role.
A Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) or other relevant industry certifications are often required or highly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of soil science, plant pathology, entomology, and precision agriculture technologies.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and business management skills are essential for success in this role.
