The business is home to world-class teams of product, licensing and retail experts, artists and storytellers, and technologists who inspire imaginations around the world.About the RoleThe Product Design Development (PDD) team at Disney Indonesia is seeking a creative and experienced Product Designer with a deep understanding of local market trends and consumer preferences. This position will primarily focus on product development in collaboration with local licensees across Home, Zakka, Stationery, and Fashion categories. In addition, the role will support local marketing initiatives and promotional events by providing design support and creative input.We are looking for a designer who is passionate about delivering thoughtful, consumer-centric product experiences that align with Disney’s brand values and design standards.Responsibilities:

Design and develop consumer products that reflect local insights and market trends in Indonesia.
Collaborate with licensees to co-develop product lines in Home, Zakka, Stationery, and Fashion categories.
Propose product concepts and design directions aligned with global and regional creative guidelines.
Review and provide feedback on licensee designs to ensure brand compliance and product integrity.
Support the creation of design materials for local marketing campaigns, product launches, and events.
Leverage Disney character assets in a creative and brand-appropriate manner to enhance product storytelling.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including creative, franchise, marketing, and legal to drive project execution.

Requirements:

3–5 years of professional experience in product or graphic design
Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
Experience in designing across consumer lifestyle categories such as fashion, stationery, home décor, or accessories is preferred
Proficiency in design and presentation tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, or Keynote
Strong understanding of the full design process from ideation to execution
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a strong advantage
A portfolio demonstrating strong product and graphic design capabilities

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in a global or multinational company environment
Understanding of licensing business models and brand compliance
Comfortable working in multicultural teams and open to cross-functional collaboration
