- Support end-to-end procurement delivery of complex, fast-paced construction projects
- Formulate, negotiate, establish, and administer complex contractual arrangements and procurement proposals for a range of products and services for the project
- Provide independent liaison and coordination with contracting principals to ensure compliance with contract specifications and resolution of problems and issues as they arise
- Evaluate contractor performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations
- Analyse price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonableness of prices; review and interpret contract provisions to achieve cost efficiencies and reductions where feasible
- Assess contractor service value and product/service reliability relative to cost; plan, organise, and coordinate acquisition alternatives as appropriate
- Participate in the formulation, development, implementation, and revision of contracting policies, procedures, and strategies for the unit as appropriate
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Supply Chain Management/Business Administration or equivalent experience
- More than 7 years of working experience in Contracting and Procurement in the energy sector (preferably from mining exploration projects or oil & gas industry)
- Certification of project management is a plus
- English capability is essential in written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP system
- In-depth knowledge of Sourcing and contracting processes with practical application experience in contract drafting, contract assurance, contract review and contract close out
