Conduct review of Tenancy Agreements with Landlord including Drafting, Due Diligence, Procuring Permissions, etc.
Negotiate directly together with the Business Team to ensure the company's best interest is met
Monitor and prepare Risk Assessment of each new property and relocation property with an action plan (such as renewal of lease, applicable specific conditions, etc.)
Liaise with Local authorities for any Business Permit/License before store opening
Monitor Lease Administration and ensure 100% compliance of lease terms for all sites
Keep up to date with the changes in the law and jurisprudence on the documents needed to sell, buy or lease property, compliance from business licenses perspective, and laws impacting retail business from the existing sites
Maintain physical and digital archiving of all legal documents - contract management and compliance tool
Support construction contract drafting, NDAs, service agreements, and engagement with other vendors

Hold at least Bachelor Degree in Law with minimum 5 years of in-house Legal experience, preferably at Retail Company with national presence
Able to demonstrate track record in successfully negotiate Tenancy Agreements that benefits the company
Has experience in provide Legal Advisory to the Management Team
Has experience in dealing with Local Authority pertaining to License/Permit Approval
Someone confident, mature, and independent in doing work
Someone who is not a text-book lawyer, but got a business acumen in approaching a business problem
Solid proficiency in English is a MUST
