This position is based in Ireland.A broad term often encompassing both light and commercial vehicle mechanics. Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs all types of motor vehicles. Performs scheduled maintenance, identifies and resolves mechanical/electrical issues, and ensures vehicles are roadworthy and safe.Key Duties:

Inspect, test, and service vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
Use advanced diagnostic tools and software.
Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance.
Ensure vehicles meet roadworthiness and safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Vocational training or apprenticeship in automotive technology.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE).
Proven experience as a motor vehicle technician.
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools.
Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
Valid driver's license.
