- Lead product development and commercialization, ensuring products consistently exceed expectations in fit, comfort, design integrity, performance, perceived value, manufacturability, and quality.
- Strengthen the development process between the Originals Co-Creation Team and Tier 1 factories, while supporting the ongoing improvement of product creation systems with a focus on change management and efficiency.
- Champion speed-to-market initiatives to accelerate product launches without compromising quality or cost targets.
- Manage and develop Tier 2 supplier relationships to support localization strategies, optimize material lead times and pricing, and ensure quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to build internal capabilities.
- Lead the execution of product processes aligned with sourcing strategy, driving innovation in material and design while achieving gross margin goals.
- Ensure all product milestones are met within fast-paced timelines and identify opportunities to improve process workflows and collaboration.
- Continuously refine product creation systems and processes to enhance speed, flexibility, and execution quality.
- Lead training programs for regional sourcing teams on product creation systems and processes, including performance tracking and feedback collection.
- Manage system account access and support for internal and external sourcing users, ensuring seamless usage and timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct regular organizational performance assessments and recommend cross-functional improvements.
- Act as a process and policy champion within Sourcing-leading optimization, updates, and implementation initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams to proactively identify and resolve roadblocks in product creation.
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with the company's Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, corporate standards, and legal requirements.
- Maintain strong working relationships with factory development leaders to enhance category-specific innovation, technical know-how, and development capability.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the footwear including both technical and managerial roles.
- Hands-on experience in pattern engineering, product creation, mold making, and materials processing.
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sourcing processes and system landscapes.
- Comfortable in high-paced product creation environments and capable of driving transformation.
- Proactive in challenging conventional approaches and pushing innovative, speed-focused solutions.
- Deep knowledge of footwear manufacturing from concept to ex-factory, including pattern engineering, mold making, grading, and materials processing.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; able to connect complex data points.
- Experienced in managing regional/local sourcing projects with defined scopes across development and commercialization.
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- University degree in Engineering or a related discipline
