- Develop and implement tax strategies, including transfer pricing policies, to optimise the company's tax position, minimise tax liabilities, and maximise tax efficiency.
- Lead and manage the preparation and filing of tax returns, including income tax, value-added tax (VAT), and other applicable taxes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on tax matters to internal stakeholders, including finance teams, senior management, and business units, to support informed decision-making.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assess their impact on the company, and recommend appropriate actions to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate and liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, and government authorities on tax-related matters, including audits, inquiries, and disputes.
- Develop and implement tax planning initiatives and strategies to support the company's business objectives, such as expansion, acquisitions, or restructuring, while minimising tax exposure.
- Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance / Fiscal from a reputable university is required as a qualification.
- Having an excellent understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, and value-added tax, is essential.
- The ideal candidate should have between 8 to 10 years of work experience in the tax domain, demonstrating a strong foundation in tax compliance, planning, and strategy.
- Experience working at a tax consulting firm is a significant advantage, showcasing the ability to provide tax advisory services, analyse complex tax issues, and develop tailored tax solutions.
- Strong leadership abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to work in a dynamic environment are key traits expected from the ideal candidate.
