- Responsible and lead the Claims Unit on day to day operation and provide supervision to ensure agreed objectives and procedures are met as per Claims Unit Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Actively manage all claims from all lines of business (excluding Health Solutions) to all accounts and engage in claims related carrier management activity and fully lead Indonesia engagement in adjuster, law firm and other vendor relationship management.
- Ensure proactive communication with clients and respond to general queries using best practice methods and ensure administration calls and written correspondence are handled promptly.
- Engage as a point of senior level escalation to the benefit of clients on specific complex claims and / or portfolio performance issues with carriers, third party administrators and others.
- Ensure allocated claims are properly managed, recorded and completed by ensuring full and proper data capture, case status and reserve controls and accuracy.
- Contribute to new business and growth by articulating the value and differentiation of Aon’s claims approach and results, and by sponsorship of pricing and client service agreement strategies.
- Ensure engagement with Commercial Risk claims leaders in other geographies and business units to being the full benefit of Aon’s claims team to clients.
- Sponsorship of all relevant elements of the firm’s claims infrastructure, including global platform / claims resolution platform.
- Ensuring all aspects of Aon Indonesia’s operation meet compliance standard determined by Aon Policy and Protocols and local regulations and always applying Aon Impact Model.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent.
- At least 10 year(s) of relevant working experience in Claims preferably broking, loss adjusting and insurance company.
- Good command of English (both oral and written).
- Comprehensive knowledge in technical general insurance policy coverage.
- Demonstrates good interpersonal skills including verbal and written communications.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision with a high level of responsibility.
- Possess Insurance Professional Qualifications i.e., ACII, ANZIIF, APAI, CIIB, or equivalent/relevant qualification
