- Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining production systems on AWS
- Hands-on experience managing:
- EC2 instances (setup, scaling, maintenance)
- AWS Lambda (function deployment, monitoring, cost optimization)
- API Gateway (configuration, security, scaling)
- AWS VPN solutions
- DynamoDB (design, performance tuning, cost management)
- Elasticsearch/OpenSearch (deployment, monitoring, scaling)
- ScyllaDB (or similar distributed NoSQL databases)
- Experience maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with tools such as:
- AWS CodePipeline / CodeBuild
- Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or similar
- Knowledge of best practices for deploying infrastructure and applications safely and efficiently
- Ability to analyze and identify opportunities for cost savings across AWS services
- Experience profiling and tuning system performance for scalability and reliability
- Solid understanding of AWS security best practices
- Knowledge of IAM policies, roles, and permissions management
- Experience implementing secure networking, encryption, and data protection measures
- Experience using Terraform for managing AWS infrastructure
- Familiarity with the Serverless Framework or AWS SAM for deploying serverless applications
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
