- Within assigned territories, establish and/or strengthen customer contacts to secure budgeted sales volume on aftermarket related products and services.
- Selling (persuading, convincing, and closing orders)
- Directing (shop/parts support personnel to provide necessary work scope and pricing information)
- Analyzing and evaluating (customer's need and ETSI's capabilities to meet those needs)
- Communication (EC for new unit)
- A thorough technical knowledge of mechanical equipment design, operation, application, and maintenance
- An engineering degree (BSME) or equivalent, 5-8 years work related experience in Steam Turbines or Compressors
- The ability to translate technical knowledge and skills into saleable ideas and proposals
- Repair techniques and maintenance procedure updates useful
- Basic understanding in repair of centrifugal pumps and turbomachinery equipment, e.g. combustion turbines, large steam turbines
- A thorough commercial knowledge of assigned industries and overview of typical processes
- Field sales, service representative, market or application experience in the same products and markets
- Specific skills
- The ability to communicate quickly, clearly, forcefully and tactfully with customers
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Promotional and selling skills to go after and close business in both familiar and new markets
- Ability to organize and manage time and territory in a motivated, self-directed manner
