As a Senior Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of operations across multiple manufacturing sites. You will be responsible for setting strategic goals for the maintenance department, developing budgets, and implementing cost control measures. Your expertise will be crucial in standardising maintenance processes across all plants, improving performance metrics such as MTTR and MTBF, and promoting a culture of safety. You will also have the opportunity to shape the future of the maintenance organisation by developing its structure, defining roles and responsibilities, setting KPIs, and overseeing staff recruitment and training.
- Set overall maintenance department goals and strategies, coordinating implementation across all plants
- Develop annual maintenance department budgets for all plants and review expenses on a monthly basis
- Identify opportunities for better cost control and propose solutions to the Manufacturing Director
- Standardise maintenance and repair processes across all plants
- Analyse and improve maintenance performance in each plant, including MTTR, MTBF, on-time planned maintenance, energy consumption, etc.
- Promote a safety-first culture and ensure safety program requirements are met at all times
- Develop the maintenance organisation structure, roles and responsibilities, KPIs, hiring and training of staff
- Ensure effective spare parts management in each plant
The ideal candidate for this Senior Maintenance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in managing both planned and unplanned maintenance within multi-site manufacturing environments. With a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, you are able to effectively oversee all aspects of maintenance operations. Your proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, coupled with your ability to analyse and interpret data related to maintenance and cost, will be key to your success in this role. With a minimum of 15 years' experience in maintenance, including at least five years in a managerial role, you have the knowledge and leadership skills necessary to drive continuous improvement within the department.
- Significant experience in managing both planned and unplanned maintenance
- Experience handling maintenance in multi-site manufacturing environments for at least two years
- Understanding of technical aspects of both mechanical and electrical systems
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Good ability to process and analyse numbers related to maintenance aspects and cost
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in maintenance with at least five years as a Maintenance Manager
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering
