As a Manufacturing Manager (FMCG), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations within the Production, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement departments. You will have the opportunity to analyse existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency. Your commitment to ensuring all operations adhere to industry standards will be crucial in maintaining our high-quality output. Collaborating with other department heads, you will align operational goals across departments, fostering an environment of shared understanding and mutual support.
- Oversee day-to-day operations in Production, Engineering and continuous improvement departments
- Analyse current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement
- Implement strategies to increase productivity and efficiency
- Ensure all operations adhere to industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other department heads to align operational goals
- Monitor production output and ensure targets are met
The ideal candidate for this Manufacturing Manager role brings a wealth of experience from the FMCG industry, with a proven track record spanning at least 15 years. Your ability to handle union negotiations will be highly valued. As a leader, your focus on nurturing team development will be key in driving success. - Proven minimum of 15 years' experience in the FMCG industry
- Exposure in Supply Chain will be preferred
- Good communication, ability to handle union negotiations is preferable
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on nurturing team development
- Fluency in English is essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration
- Strong analytical skills for identifying process improvements
