Job Description Summary : Design, test, implement, and monitor automated machinery and processes in order to meet certain needs in the field as well as instruments to measure variables; temperature, pressure, radiation, voltage, etc. Responsible for design specifications and other detailed documentation of own creation of automated machineries. Carry out design, manage and install machines or control systems used in highly technical fields, as an instrument engineer, all in accordance to safety and efficiency.Job Description :Design, test, evaluate, modify, and calibrate products and instruments to measure certain variables.Create test procedures needed to modify, optimize, and maintain related instruments, and machineries.Provide technical support project managers, contract administrators, lead engineers, and others along the division for existing automation systems, and within the technical field.Provide technical expertise during regulatory audits.Manage vendors and consultants to ensure that contracts contain appropriate technical specifications are delivered as required.Work collaboratively with design engineers, procurement officers, and other personnel in the production process in designing, and producing instruments.Manage projects within the estimated time and given budget.Ensure that instruments comply with health and safety regulations, and quality standards are met.Prepare reports, documentation or proposals of potential or existing project and activities to upper management level.Job Requirement :Minimum Formal education: D3 in Electrical/Physics or related field from a polytechnic institution.Minimum experience: Approximately 5 years as automation/instrumentation/calibration engineer in agribusiness & food, oleochemical, petrochemical, or similar industries.Proficiency in PLC programming, including Simatic TIA Portal and Centum Yokogawa. Proficiency in SCADA programming such as Intensys, WinCC, and Centum.Proficiency in Database management with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
